About

Hi, I’m Jacey Lynn, the founder, editor, and writer behind Regency Rider—a place dedicated to helping new and beginner riders navigate their equestrian journey with confidence.

My Story: Learning to Ride at 40

I didn’t grow up in the saddle. In fact, I started riding at 40 years old—proof that it’s never too late to follow your passion. Like so many adult beginners, I was excited but also nervous, overwhelmed, and full of questions. Was I too old? Too inexperienced? Would I ever feel truly confident on a horse?

The truth is, learning to ride as an adult comes with its own set of challenges—but it also comes with incredible rewards. I quickly realized that riding isn’t just about mastering technique; it’s about building trust with your horse, gaining confidence in yourself, and embracing the joy of the journey.

My Passion: Helping Beginners Like You

I created Regency Rider because I know what it’s like to start from scratch. I know what it’s like to second-guess yourself, to struggle with balance, and to wonder if you’ll ever get the hang of things. My goal is to make your riding journey easier, less intimidating, and a whole lot more fun!
